RGB Web Tech is seeking a passionate Game Designing Intern to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in game mechanics, level design, and user experience. Responsibilities include assisting in game development, creating prototypes, testing gameplay, and collaborating with developers and artists. Basic knowledge of Unity, Unreal Engine, or scripting languages is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assisting in designing game mechanics, levels, and characters
- Collaborating with developers, artists, and writers to refine game elements
- Creating wireframes, sketches, or prototypes for gameplay concepts
- Conducting research on gaming trends and competitor analysis
- Testing games for bugs, inconsistencies, and gameplay improvements
- Writing game design documentation, including flowcharts and scripts
- Providing feedback on game mechanics, user experience, and difficulty balance
- Assisting in UI/UX design for better player engagement
Requirements
- A background in Game Design, Computer Science, Animation, or a related field
- Basic knowledge of game engines like Unity, Unreal Engine, or Godot
- Familiarity with scripting languages like C#, Python, or JavaScript
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- A portfolio showcasing game design projects or prototypes
- Ability to work in a team and communicate design ideas effectively
- Passion for gaming and an understanding of different game genres
